Partners on the Research Journey | 2024 SOPTOP Customer Literature Review

Release time:Release time:2024 - 11 - 27

In 2024, SOPTOP's products have been widely applied in various research fields. Whether in biology, medicine, materials science, or agricultural and forestry sciences, numerous researchers have used our products to achieve high signal-to-noise ratio imaging and data analysis, resulting in several valuable academic contributions.

Each article carries the hard work of researchers and highlights the exploration of scientific frontiers with SOPTOP products.

Below are some outstanding articles from the 2024 annual review.

1、《Nature Communication》

In August 2024, Professor Ji Pengfei's research team at the Metal Protein Laboratory of Zhejiang University published their research "Hierarchical organic microspheres from diverse molecular building blocks" in Nature Communications (IF=14.7). The study used a network synthesis method to design hierarchical organic microspheres made from simple organic molecules, which possess unique adsorption properties and can be used for enzyme and phage immobilization. This provides new ideas for the design of multifunctional superstructures.

Product used: Laser Focused Scanning Microscope.

2、《The Plant Cell》

In August 2024, the Rapeseed Genetic Improvement Innovation Team from the National Key Laboratory of Crop Genetic Improvement at Huazhong Agricultural University and the National Rapeseed Engineering Technology Research Center published a research paper titled "ASYNAPSIS3 has diverse dosage-dependent effects on meiotic crossover formation in Brassica napus" in The Plant Cell (IF=11.1). The study revealed the dosage-dependent multiple effects of the chromosome axis protein BnaASY3 on chromosome recombination in Brassica napus.

Product used: RX50 Research-grade Upright Fluorescence Microscope.

3、《Journal of Controlled Release》

In August 2024, the Drug Delivery Research Group from the School of Pharmacy at Zhengzhou University published their research "Modified montmorillonite armed probiotics with enhanced on-site mucus-depleted intestinal colonization and H2S scavenging for colitis treatment" in the Journal of Controlled Release (IF=10.5). The study introduced a modified montmorillonite-encapsulated probiotic Escherichia coli Nissle 1917, which exhibits enhanced intestinal colonization ability and H2S scavenging functionality, thereby synergistically alleviating inflammatory bowel disease.

Product used: Laser Focused Scanning Microscope.

4、《Food Chemistry》

In May 2024, the School of Biology and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Three Gorges University published their research "Sanxiapeptin is an ideal preservative with a dual effect of controlling green mold and inducing systemic defense in postharvest citrus" in Food Chemistry (IF=8.8). The study explored the antifungal activity of Sanxiapeptin against Penicillium digitatum and elucidated the possible mechanism of action.

Product used: IRX60 Research-grade Inverted Fluorescence Microscope.

5、《Int J Biol Macromol》

In August 2024, the research group led by Chen Xin at Wuhan University of Light Industry published their research "Construction of intelligent response gene vector based on MOF/Fe3O4/AuNRs for tumor-targeted gene delivery" in International Journal of Biological Macromolecules (IF=7.7). The study developed a multifunctional nanocomposite AFZP25k, which integrates ZIF-90 to load iron oxide nanoparticles and gold nanorods, and surface-functionalizes with polyethyleneimine (PEI). This material exhibits pH, photothermal, and magnetic response properties for efficient gene delivery, demonstrating its potential application in cancer gene therapy.

Product used: Laser Focused Scanning Microscope.

6、《Int J Biol Macromol》

In November 2024, the Seasoning Research Group at the School of Food and Biological Engineering, Xihua University, published their research "Revealing protein aggregation behaviour and dispersion properties induced by molecular interactions between sucrose esters and myofibrillar protein in an aqueous phase system" in International Journal of Biological Macromolecules (IF=7.7). The study demonstrated that sucrose esters (SE) interact with myofibrillar proteins (MPs) through hydrophobic forces and hydrogen bonding, providing theoretical insights for the application of non-ionic surfactants in meat protein processing.

Product used: Laser Focused Scanning Microscope.
